Two recent publications describe the pharmacological characterization of NLX-112, a potential drug therapy for L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia (LID) in Parkinson's disease. The studies were supported by grants from the Michael J. Fox Foundation (see previous announcement) and show that NLX-112 exhibits potent and complete anti-dyskinetic activity in 'parkinsonian' rats. The activity was maintained upon repeated administration, suggesting a sustained capacity to suppress LID. Read the full press release:
